Mr. Clean Stick II

Mr. Clean Stick II from Mr Hobby

The Mr. Clean Stick II from Mr. Hobby features two ends: a thicker, firm end useful for cleaning up weathering products or applying decals, as well as thinner, more flexible end for cleaning up panel lines. The product also comes with 5 foam tip refills of each type. (Official page:

Pros:
– Doesn’t leave fibers like conventional cotton buds
– Retains enamel panel line residue well and doesn’t smudge as much as cotton buds
– Washable and reusable, so cost effective

Cons:
– Narrow end is a little flimsy and could be challenging to use in tight spaces. Consider supplementing with Mr. Cotton Swab (Super Fine).

Recommend: Yes. We all go through a ton of cotton buds cleaning up panel lines, which ends up costing a lot of money if you use specialty ones!
